Privacy Policy
What WrektView keeps, shows and removes.
WrektView is a developing beta service. This page describes current product behavior and may change as the system changes.
Authentication
WrektView uses Supabase Auth for account authentication. Email addresses remain private account data and are not intended to become public profile identity. WrektView does not store plaintext passwords in its public application tables.
Public identity
WrektView is username-first. Profiles may include a public username, biography, avatar and user-created profile content. Private account credentials are not your public profile identity.
Rooms and DMs
Public rooms retain their newest 200 messages without a time-based expiry. DMs and private rooms are not subject to public-room expiration. Cleanup removes public-room messages and associated chat media after they leave the live message set, subject to moderation, security, backup and lawful-preservation needs.
REP records
REP records may remain associated with a public username and profile, including the original market call, timestamp, status, resolution and REP effects.
Images and media
Chat images and profile media may be stored using Supabase Storage. Access and retention can differ between chat media and persistent profile content.
Operational data
Infrastructure providers may process information needed to deliver and secure the service, including network requests, timestamps, errors, authentication events and security logs. Backups and security systems may have different retention periods from the live application.
Third-party services
WrektView uses services including Google authentication, Supabase and external market-data or research sources. Those services operate under their own privacy terms and technical practices.
Security and legal obligations
WrektView may preserve, disclose, restrict or process information when reasonably necessary to secure the service, investigate abuse, comply with applicable law or respond to valid legal process.
Changes
This policy should change when the actual data model, service providers, retention behavior or public features materially change.
